To The Future: Cody Rhodes Teases WWE Title Implications For Crown Jewel Coming At Bad Blood

Next step. We are less than a week away from WWE Bad Blood, which is making its return after a more than twenty year absence. As a result, WWE is going to be presenting several major matches to makes sure the fans are treated to as much star power as possible. That will include one of the show’s main events, but the match might also have some extra importance for the future.

At Bad Blood, WWE Champion Cody Rhodes is scheduled to team with Roman Reigns against the Bloodline. Rhodes appeared on The Pat McAfee Show this weekend and spoke about the match, saying that while the title was not on the line, there would be a “video package or a vignette” airing during the show that will have title implications for Crown Jewel. Crown Jewel is scheduled to take place on Saturday November 2.

Opinion: This is certainly something interesting and now the question becomes what is going to be happening. The most likely situation would seem to be Rhodes vs. Reigns III, which would be the kind of match that WWE would like to present at a show like Crown Jewel. Or we could be in for quite the different direction and that very well could be something that fans aren’t expecting.
