Timing! Several Fans Did Not See Major NXT Surprise This Week, What Went Wrong

It didn’t go well. There are several things that make wrestling promotions a success, but ultimately the most important thing is the fans being able to see what is going on. If the audience isn’t seeing the show, it doesn’t matter how good things are. That was the case for some people earlier this week, as a major moment that took place on a show was not seen by everyone.

The ending of this week’s NXT saw the surprise debut of Zaria, formerly known as Delta, who had previously been announced as debuting this Sunday at Halloween Havoc. However, according to Fightful Select by way of Cagesideseats.com, some markets cut the show off before Zaria made her appearance. The cutoff was due to some CW affiliates airing on a twenty second delay. This caused several people who work backstage in WWE to be very annoyed.

Opinion: This is the kind of thing that NXT is going to need to work out, as Zaria’s debut was one of the biggest moments on the show but a bunch of fans didn’t even get to see it. That isn’t something that can be done going forward, meaning the affiliates are either going to need to find a way to fix the problem or for NXT to start getting the show wrapped up a bit earlier.
