It worked. There are all kinds of wrestling promotions around the world and it can be rather interesting when you see the working together. While this does not often happen with the bigger promotions, it can be a big deal for fans of either, or both, companies. That is what we have been seeing over the last few weeks and now we know a bit more about how things have been going.

IN CASE YOU MISSED IT: Oh That’s Good: Injury Update On AEW Star Following Scary Moment On Collision

Over the last several weeks, TNA Wrestling and WWE have been working together, with TNA and NXT wrestlers appearing on each others’ shows. This included Joe Hendry appearing this week on NXT, being the first entrant eliminated from a #1 contenders battle royal. According to Fightful Select, officials in NXT are said to be pleased with how the NXT fans reacted to Hendry. On the other hand, TNA sources are said to be pleased that the Hendry vs. Frankie Kazarian (the man who eliminated him) story was continued, though they had hoped Hendry stayed in the match longer. Hendry is expected to appear in NXT again eventually.

It went well. Check out what Hendry did in NXT and what he has done in TNA:

Opinion: I can’t say I’m surprised at the response to Hendry’s debut, as he is one of the most charismatic wrestlers going today. It’s nice to see Hendry get this kind of a reception and I could definitely go with seeing him show up again in NXT. It would absolutely not surprise me to see Hendry coming to NXT when his TNA contract expires and this felt like one heck of a preview.
