That’s a different kind. There are all kinds of wrestling shows on any given week, most of which follow the same format. Every so often you will see something that doesn’t go in the usual way though, as there is a twist to what is being presented. Occasionally these shows will not even include wrestling, which might be the case in a show that we might be seeing soon.
IN CASE YOU MISSED IT: That’s A Long Time: Injury Update On Asuka, How Long She Could Be Out
Over the weekend, AEW President Tony Khan appeared on Wrestling Observer Radio, where he mentioned that he was considering an “injury report” show. The show would be designed to keep fans update on the status of any AEW wrestlers currently out of action with an injury. It is not clear if Khan was being serious or not or where the show would be airing.
They could use it. Check out some of the regularly banged up AEW stars:
Opinion: I’m not sure how much of an audience there would be for something like this, but what I find interesting is the fact that there might be this many injuries in AEW. If there are so many wrestlers hurt that they might need their own show, it might be time to change something involving the kind of wrestling in the company. Hopefully this show isn’t necessary long term, but I’m not sure I can imagine it actually happening.
