It’s going well. There are all kinds of things that need to come together to make a wrestling promotion a success, but one of the most important is to let the fans be able to see what the promotion is doing. WWE is set to run its traditional Christmas week live event at Madison Square Garden in New York City on December 26. According to WrestleTix, the event had 9,564 tickets out as of Saturday morning, with over 1,500 being sold in the last week. There are just shy of 3,200 tickets still available in the current set up so a sellout, or at least a near one, is still a possibility. It is not clear what caused the recent surge in ticket sales.

Opinion: WWE has had this show for the better part of ever and it is still doing pretty well. Even at just shy of 10,000 tickets, they will have most of the place filled with a chance to get it even more packed with over two weeks to go. That must be a good sign for WWE, as they have been on fire lately with attendance, but being able to do it in their signature arena means that much more.
