They’re running out of time. Now that it is under new ownership, WWE has been doing things in a rather different way over the last few months. According to Fightful Select, WWE Women’s World Champion Becky Lynch has not been signed to a new deal at the moment. Lynch’s current deal is expected to expire in about three weeks and the two sides are negotiating on a new contract. Lynch is currently scheduled to defend her title against Liv Morgan at WWE King And Queen Of The Ring on May 25, shortly before her contract expires.

Opinion: At the end of the day, it is hard to imagine WWE not signing Lynch to a new deal, assuming she is interested in staying around. She is one of the biggest stars in the company in any division and that is not something WWE will want to let walk away. There is a good chance that she will sign a new deal and get one heck of a payday out of it, which she has more than earned over the years.
