Stipulation Added to “Extreme Rules” Cruiserweight Title Match

What’s on tap (out)? Neville vs. Austin Aries is pretty easily the biggest feud in the short history of the cruiserweight division. They’re coming up on their third pay per view match for Neville’s Cruiserweight Title and that means it’s time to sweeten the pot a little bit. That’s what we’re going to get as a stipulation has been added to the match.

WWE has announced that Neville will defend the title against Aries in a submission match at “Extreme Rules 2017”. Aries has been showcasing the Last Chancery more often in recent weeks but also has a bad knee. Neville frequently uses the Rings of Saturn as a finisher, giving him two possible targets.

Opinion: They’ve built this up as a fine idea and it’s the right idea for the third match. That being said, it needs to be the final match as they can only go so long before it starts getting stale. The gimmick adds a reason for them to fight one more time though and hopefully ti should be an entertaining match.
