That’s different. Sometimes a match is built up well in advance, but for one reason or another it might need an extra stipulation. Maybe it doesn’t have the energy the promotion wants it to have or maybe the feud is hot enough that it warrants something extra. Either way, that is what we are going to get this weekend with one of the biggest matches at one of the biggest shows of the year.

This week’s SmackDown opened with WWE Universal Champion Cody Rhodes being interrupted by Solo Sikoa. The two argued, with Sikoa challenging Rhodes to make their title match a Bloodline Rules match, meaning anything goes. Rhodes agreed to the match, with it being made official later in the show. This is the same stipulation in place when Rhodes defeated Roman Reigns to win the title at WrestleMania 40.

Opinion: This is the kind of thing the match could use, as there is only so much you can get out of a regular singles match between them. Having the relaxed rules should make or a better fight and will probably suit Sikoa’s style that much better. For now though, we should be in for a heck of a fight, which is exactly what it should be with the main event of one of the biggest shows of the year.
