The summertime blues. It’s kind of a weird time for “Smackdown Live” at the moment as we’re just over a week past “Summerslam 2017” but over a month away from “Hell in a Cell” 2017. Therefore, there isn’t much to build to for a little while and that’s going going to make for a slightly less interesting show. So how did this week’s episode do?
This week’s episode of “Smackdown Live” drew a .76 rating in the 18-49 demographic and 2.455 million viewers. These numbers are down 13% from last week’s .87 rating and 9% from last week’s 2.685 million viewers. Both of these numbers are the lowest since the July 4 episode.
Miss the show? Here are some of the highlights.
Opinion: I can’t say I’m all that surprised by this one. Last week’s show didn’t offer much of anything to keep people watching and the numbers fell from the “Summerslam 2017” fallout show. Over on “Monday Night Raw”, a title match was announced and some big stuff was set up. It’s just not all that interesting of a show right now, though I liked this week’s episode.
