They have a thing. Summerslam is coming up in less than two weeks and the show is going to be one of the biggest of the year for WWE. This week on Monday Night Raw, it was announced that Jelly Roll will perform the official theme song of Summerslam “Dead End Road” live at Summerslam. This was teased by WE CCO Triple H last week but did not officially announce that it would be taking place. There is no word on if the concert will take place on the show itself or on the Summerslam Kickoff Show.

Opinion: This is the kind of thing that you will see added into a show every so often and your mileage may vary. There is something to be said about having a mainstream star like Jelly Roll show up for the event and add something to it, though at the same time there is something to the idea of being there for wrestling and not a concert. If this is over and done with in five minutes at the start of the show though, it certainly could be worse.
