That’s rough. There are all kinds of injuries that can take place in wrestling and unfortunately there are only so many ways around them. Sometimes you will see someone suffer a fluke injury during a match and it can change their entire career, at least for the time being. That appears to be the case again with an AEW wrestler who was injured earlier this week.

IN CASE YOU MISSED IT: WRESTLING RUMORS: Two More Names Removed From WWE Internal Roster, Possibly Done With Company

Earlier this week on AEW Collision, a match between Skye Blue and Hikaru Shida was stopped when Blue suffered an injury. According to Bryan Alvarez by way of Cagesideseats.com, the belief is that Blue suffered a broken ankle, though this is NOT confirmed. Blue’s boyfriend Kyle Fletcher posted an image of Blue at home with her leg heavily taped up. There is no word on when she will be able to return to the ring.

Blue is quite the talented star. Check out what she has done in AEW:

Opinion: While it might be too early to know just how bad things are, having an ankle, or anything for that matter, taped up that heavily is not the best sign. I’m not sure how long Blue is going to be out of the ring but it doesn’t seem like it is going to be anytime soon. Hopefully things are not as bad as they seem though, because Blue is too good to be sitting on the sidelines for that long.

What do you think of Blue’s time in AEW? What is next for her when she gets back in the ring? Let is know in the comments below.
