She worked through it. There are all kinds of health issus that can come with being a wrestler. Some of those things are the normal, run of the mill kinds of things that happen to wrestlers on a regular basis, but those are not the only ones. Occasionally you will see someone deal with a health issue that might not be so obvious, which was the situation with a current WWE Superstar.

Last week on Monday Night Raw, Raquel Rodriguez made a surprise return to the ring, winning a battle royal to earn a spot in the women’s Elimination Chamber match. This was Rodriguez’s first match back after being diagnosed with mast cell activation syndrome, a condition which can cause severe skin issues, including swelling. In a post on her Instagram, Rodriguez revealed that she suffered another attack of the condition on her way to Australia for the show, which resulted in her not being able to wear makeup at the event. Rodriguez entered the match third and was eliminated by Bianca Belair.

Opinion: That’s quite the accomplishmnt for Rodriguez, who is already having to deal with something terrible but managed to make it through the match anyway. You could see that something was a bit off with her appearance but she managed to do everything she was supposed to. It was an impressive performance as Rodriguez is quite the force when she is able to be out there, which hopefully she can do for a long time to come.
