That’s just not true. There have been all kinds of changes on the WWE roster in recent months with a bunch of stars coming and going from the company’s lineup. This includes some of the biggest names the promotion had to offer, with one in particular leaving, at least for the time being. Recently a rumor began to swirl about her status, but it does not seem to be the case.

Earlier this year, Becky Lynch’s WWE contract expired, making her a free agent. Recently, former WWE personality Jonathan Coachman reported that Lynch had requested a two million dollar a year salary but WWE had turned it down. However, according to Fightful Select by way of 411mania.com, this is not true, saying that if Lynch had requested such a salary in order to return, WWE would have accepted. Lynch’s contract is believed to be more valuable than that amount. There is no word on when or if Lynch is expected to return to WWE.
Opinion: This makes more sense as it was hard to believe that WWE would turn down Lynch returning for $2 million a year. That sounds like a steal for one of the biggest stars the company has available today and if she wanted it, she would likely get it. If nothing else, WWE would probably be happy with getting Lynch away from the free agent market, but it seems we’ll be waiting for it to happen.
