Well at least he had a good reason. This week on Monday Night Raw, Seth Rollins cut a promo that a lot of fans probably want to cut. Rollins ranted about all the problems Monday Night Raw has had recently and talking about how bad the show has become. He even brought up the ratings woes, which aren’t something you often hear mentioned. So why did he do it?

Mike Johnson spoke on PW Insider Elite about the promo and offered a pair of theories as to the point of the promo. The idea of the promo could have been either the company acknowledging the issues that Monday Night Raw is having at the moment and then ignoring them, or using Rollins’ promo to get additional heat on Baron Corbin, who was Rollins deemed responsible for the problems. Later in the night, Rollins went on to defeat Corbin in a TLC match.

Well we have to go here now. Check out Rollins’ rather excellent rant from Monday Night Raw:

Seth Rollins on Baron Corbin’s “abject failure” running Raw: Raw, Dec. 10, 2018

Opinion: While either of these are possible, I’d lean more towards the first. At the end of the day, WWE didn’t really change much of anything on this week’s Monday Night Raw. It was a lot more of Corbin dominating the show and a lot of the heroes (though not all of them) getting beaten down. There’s little to hope for on the show and that’s been a major issue for a long time now.

Which of these theories do you think is right? When will the show turn around? Let us know in the comments below.
