It can happen to anyone. Injuries are some of the worst things that can happen to any wrestler and unfortunately they can happen at any time. You never know when a match is going to go badly and result in something falling apart. Unfortunately that was the case earlier this weekend and things took a turn for the worst during the course of a televised match.

This week’s AEW Collision featured a match between Hikaru Shida and Skye Blue. About two minutes into the match, Shida knocked Blue outside and hit her with a dive. The match then went to a commercial break and when it came back, the match had been stopped due to Blue suffering an injury. While the nature of the injury was not disclosed, Blue could be seen holding her leg. There is no word on how much, if any, ring time Blue will miss.
She’s had better moments. Check out some of Blue’s other times in the ring:
Opinion: This is something that happens on occasion and what matters the most is how bad things are for Shida. Hopefully she is ok and not in any serious trouble, as a leg injury can be one of the worst kinds anyone can suffer. There is always the chance that this was more precautionary than anything else, but what matters the most right now is just waiting to see where things go.
What do you think of the injury? What is next for both of them in AEW? Let us know in the comments below.
