That’s a tease. We are coming up on Summerslam weekend and in this case that means it is time to start getting ready for one of the biggest shows of the year. At the same time, it means that you can begin to see an even bigger show looming over the horizon. That would be the biggest show of the year, and now one of the most important names in wrestling history is making quite the tease.

Steve Austin was interviewed by the Atlantic about competing in off buggy road races in Nevada, where he currently lives. Austin said that it is hard to get him to leave the state, but pointed out that WrestleMania 41 next year is in Las Vegas, Nevada. There is no word on a potential return to the ring or to WWE TV for Austin, who did wrestle at WrestleMania 38. Austin was rumored for an appearance at WrestleMania 40 but did not appear. WrestleMania 41 takes place on April 19 and 20, 2025.

Opinion: This is firmly in the “I’ll believe it when I see it” category as Austin is notorious for not wanting to get involved in modern wrestling. While there is always the chance that he will come back for a cameo, it is hard to believe that he will have another full on match. For now though, there is something great about just having this kind of a tease, as it makes you wonder what you might get to see next year.
