Over the weekend, in a since deleted Q&A video posted to Twitter, Pennsylvania Governor Josh Shapiro was listing events coming to the city of Philadelphia in 2026, including WrestleMania. However, the Governor’s office sent out an update to Fightful, announcing that there was an error in the video and WrestleMania would NOT be coming to Philadelphia in 2026. There is no word on where the show will be held and it is not clear when WWE will make such an announcement. WrestleMania 40 was held in Philadelphia earlier this year.

Opinion: That makes more sense, as while I could see Philadelphia getting WrestleMania again, it would be hard to imagine it taking place in the same city twice in three years.
