That might be it? Like other sports, professional wrestlers will occasionally get to continue their time in the business after their in-ring careers come to an end. This can include wrestlers working as managers, agents and more, but there are always going to be times when someone’s post-wrestling career does come to an end. While not confirmed, it does seem like one such legend will be gone, at least for the time being.
IN CASE YOU MISSED IT: WATCH: Injured WWE Superstar Returns On Monday Night Raw After Three Month Injury Hiatus
Last month on Monday Night Raw, Uncle Howdy gave Paul Ellering the Mandible Claw to leave him laying. His week’s show featured an appearance by the Final Testament, the stable Ellering had been managing, but Ellering himself did not appear. While not confirmed, this could suggest that Ellering, 71, is taking some time away from the show, though there is no guarantee that this is the case.
The team is quite good. Check out what they have done in WWE:
Opinion: This might be it for Ellering, who is a great manager and talker, but he has not exactly been able to do much of anything during this run. At the end of the day, there isn’t much of a point to having him around if he isn’t going to be able to do anything of note and that has been the case. I’m not sure if Ellering is going to be back, but they did at least give him an effective sendoff, if that is the case.
What did you think of the attack that took Ellering out? Should anyone take his place? Let us know in the comments below.
