That’s a long time. Live events are some of the most important things that WWE has to offer, as they allow wrestlers to try something different before having it appear on television. That is the kind of thing that can help wrestlers quite a bit while giving the fans something interesting to see. WWE did just that again over the weekend, but this time it was something they had not seen in a long time.
IN CASE YOU MISSED IT: Beast Mode: Update On Brock Lesnar’s WWE Status, Likely Return
On Saturday, WWE presented a live event in Johnson City, Tennessee. One of the matches on the show saw World Heavyweight Champion Seth Rollins defeat Drew McIntyre. According to Ringsidenews.com, this was McIntyre’s first singles loss at a live event since July 9, 2022, or after 490 days, when Roman Reigns defeated him. McIntyre has been feuding with Rollins, who defeated him at Crown Jewel last week to retain the title.

Opinion: This is one of those things that probably not followed until we got to the point, as I can’t imagine WWE kept that close of an eye on McIntyre’s performances at live events. At the same time, it is a cool bit of trivia as well as a sign that things are changing for McIntyre. He is still one of the bigger stars in WWE but now he is on the losing end of bigger matches, which is a bit of a strange twist.
