This can lead to some great moments when someone is able to return to the ring, but the question becomes when that actually gets to happen. This week on Monday Night Raw, Rhea Ripley challenged Liv Morgan to a match at Summerslam for Morgan’s WWE Women’s World Title, with Morgan accepting. This will be Ripley’s first match since April due to a shoulder injury. According to PWInsider.com, Ripley is still not cleared for physical contact but is expected to be by Summerslam on August 3. She is not expected to wrestle before Summerslam.

Opinion: This makes sense, with WWE setting the match up so far in advance being a good sign. There is a strong chance that Ripley will be cleared to return to the ring in time, which means we should be in for one of the more interesting matches on the card. If nothing else, Ripley being back adds so much more star power to WWE, as she is one of the biggest names in the company.
