The fallout from Sunday. One of the biggest stories coming into Survivor Series was that of Braun Strowman. After losing his latest chance at the Universal Title back at Crown Jewel, Strowman wanted one more shot at Brock Lesnar. The match was approved, providing that Strowman lead the Monday Night Raw team to victory at Survivor Series. Strowman did that, but it’s a little more complicated than that.
This week on Monday Night Raw, Commissioner Stephanie McMahon said that Strowman can have his shot at Lesnar at the Royal Rumble, provided that Strowman can defeat Baron Corbin at Tables Ladders And Chairs. That was fine with Strowman, who decided the match would be a TLC match. However, if Corbin wins, Strowman doesn’t get a title shot and Corbin is the permanent General Manager. If he loses though, he’s out of power.
Here’s how it went down:
Opinion: Just in case you wanted one of the few stories coming into Survivor Series to actually stick. Strowman vs. Corbin was obvious, but egads I’m not sure how interesting the idea of Corbin getting a promotion is supposed to be. I’m sure Corbin will throw a bunch of stuff at Strowman in the match and that’s fine, but Strowman almost has to win here, right?
What do you think of the stipulations? Who will win the match? Let us know in the comments below.
