Main Event Set for “Tables Ladders and Chairs 2017”

We’ve got a big match. In what wasn’t the biggest surprise in the world, the Shield reunited on this week’s episode of “Monday Night Raw”. Roman Reigns has been having issues with Miz, Cesaro and Sheamus for a little while now and it was clear that he needed some help. Now the team is back together and the team is ready to go one step further.

Also announced tonight on “Monday Night Raw”, Shield’s first match back will take place at the upcoming “Tables Ladders and Chairs 2017” in the show’s namesake match against Miz, Cesaro and Sheamus. This is the team’s first match on the same page (they had a one off match back in 2015 that broke down when Rollins walked out) since 2014 when Rollins turned on his partners.

Opinion: It’s not like they have anything else to build the show around so this makes as much sense as anything else. They’re one of the most popular acts in years and it’s a good idea to throw them together, even if it’s not a full time reunion. Let them get together and beat up some goons, as was their strength back in the day.
