Did anyone notice? With the switch from Impact Wrestling to Global Force Wrestling, the company’s roster has gone through several changes in recent months. This included a variety of names, both old and new, making appearances. It also includes the departure of a former World Champion.
Magnus' Top 5 Matches | Fight Network Flashback
According to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter
by way of 411mania.com, Magnus has left the company after only making a few appearances. He turned down Global Force Wrestling’s latest contract offer and worked the show where he dropped the World Title to Alberto El Patron only under a handshake agreement.
Opinion: As I mentioned, did anyone notice? Magnus has a great look and poise but he’s really not the most memorable wrestler in the world. There’s nothing wrong with him but it feels like once you’ve seen one Magnus match, you’ve seen them all. He’ll get a job in Japan or maybe even in NXT though as the talent is hard to ignore. Give it the right direction and things will be fine.
Did you like Magnus’ run with the company? Where do you think he’ll wind up? Let us know in the comments below.
