LOOK: Rhea Ripley Receives A Rather Unique Honor

That’s a cameo. Professional wrestlers are in a weird place when it comes to celebrity status. While they are known for something that gets them attention in a variety of places, they are often only known for one thing whatsoever. That can still open up a variety of doors though and now one of the biggest stars in all of wrestling has gotten a rather unique cameo.

WWE Superstar Rhea Ripley appeared in a recent edition of the online comic Gil Thorp. In the strip, the characters go to a wrestling event where Ripley is in the ring. There is no opponent or any other wrestler included. There is no word on if Ripley will appear in further editions. Thorp is a sports comic which has run since 1958. Ripley is currently set to team with Damian Priest to face Dominik Mysterio and Liv Morgan at Bash In Berlin on August 31 in Berlin, Germany.

Opinion: This is something that might not seem very important but shows how big of a deal Ripley has become. The strip’s writers could probably pick just about any WWE Superstar they chose but they picked Ripley out of everyone. That shows you what kind of a star she is, and that happens to be one of the biggest names in all of WWE at the moment. That’s not bad, and makes me wonder just how far she can go.
