He Would Know: Wardlow Provides Update After Injury Scare On AEW Dynamite

That’s a great update. Injuries can be devastating in wrestling and there are certain moments that can appear very scary as a result. You can see someone look like they are getting hurt and wondering what it might mean in the future. A similar situation took place this week during a match, but we already have a positive update from someone who would know best.

This week on AEW Dynamite, Wardlow defeated Komander in a singles match. Late in the match, Wardlow’s leg appeared to give out as he powerbombed Komander. Following the march, Wardlow could be seen limping around the ring. Wardlow has posted an update to Twitter, saying that “a normal man’s knee would be ruined” but his “knee is just fine”. There is currently nothing to suggest that Wardlow will miss any ring time.

Opinion: Wardlow is a powerful star and it would be a shame to see him put on the shelf with an injury. The Undisputed Kingdom is already in a bit of a rough spot and having a second member on the shelf would be rough. Hopefully everything is as fine as Wardlow says it is as that was a rather nasty looking limp both during the match and after it was over.
