You have to keep the card going. AEW has only been around for a few months now and yet they already feel like one of the most important shows in all of wrestling. With so many things going on, they already have to start getting ready for the future while also keeping the present going. They have found most of their footing with Dynamite and that is really the most important thing that they can be doing so far. At the same time though, they have to build towards the future and that is exactly what they are doing, with a new match set up for Full Gear.

Since the earliest days of AEW, Britt Baker has been one of the focal points of the women’s division. She received an early Women’s Title shot against Riho but came up short, only to come back with a showcase win the following week in her hometown of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. It is clear that she is someone who AEW wants to see as a big deal and therefore, she will be featured on Full Gear, AEW’s next pay per view which will take place this coming Saturday November 9.

During this week’s AEW Dark, it was announced that Baker will be facing longtime rival Bea Priestly in a grudge match. The two have been having issues for several months now, including multiple tag team matches on various shows, including the second episode of Dynamite. Neither has had the most success in AEW, with Priestly yet to win a singles match and Baker losing in her biggest match to date. The match will take place on the Full Gear pre-show.

They have done something similar before. Check out their tag match from last month:

Opinion: This is the kind of thing that they need to do to both fill in the card as well as establish some other stars for the company. Baker has gotten a lot of attention so far while Priestly is someone who could be a big deal if she was given the chance. There is a lot of untapped talent in AEW and under the right circumstances, both of these two could be stars in the division for a long time to come. Just come up with something to say about Baker besides the fact that she is a dentist.
