Keep Waiting: Update On NXT Europe (Remember That?)

Seems over. We are coming up on the end of the year and that means things are changing for WWE. The company has some projects which are coming up, but there are others which have not exactly come to fruition. Some of those are things that have been teased for quite a long time, but it seems that one of them is not going to be happening, at least anytime soon.

Back in September 2022, NXT UK officially closed, with rumors an reports of NXT Europe coming in to replace it. However, nothing has ever actually taken place or been announced. According to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, NXT Europe was supposed to launch in both 2023 and 2024 but now it may not be happening at all. It is not a topic that is being discussed in WWE anymore at the moment.

Opinion: This is something that shouldn’t come as the biggest surprise. The concept has not been mentioned whatsoever in a long time now and ultimately I’m not sure if it is ever going to launch. At the end of the day, the concept is just not there right now and it isn’t like things are going badly for WWE at the moment anyway. For now though, we might be adding it to the long list of things WWE was going to do but never happened.
