Keep On Climbing: Cody Rhodes Reaches New Milestone, His Standing In Non-WWE Sports

He’s up there. Merchandise has long since been a major part of a wrestler’s presentation and it makes a lot of sense. Fans are going to want to show their support for a popular wrestler and that will often include wearing a shirt or something similar featuring a star. WWE is certainly involved in such a thing and now we know something more about one of their biggest names.

According to Fightful Select, Cody Rhodes has moved into the top five in overall merchandise sales for Fanatics for any personality or athlete. Rhodes had previously made the top ten earlier this year and is the top WWE merchandise seller. He is the only wrestler in the top five on the list. Rhodes is currently set to team with Roman Reigns against the Bloodline next month at Bad Blood.

Opinion: The more you look at Rhodes, the more successful he is becoming and it is rather remarkable. He has been WWE Champion for a little over five months and there is nothing to suggest that he is going to be losing it anytime soon. To be that high up in all sports is incredibly impressive and it makes me wonder just how far Rhodes can go compared to everyone outside of WWE.
