Johnny Gargano Breaks Silence on Twitter, Returns to NXT Next Week

Johnny’s coming home. The top story coming out of “Takeover: Chicago” was DIY splitting up to end the show. Tommaso Ciampa turned on Johnny Gargano after they lost the main event ladder match against Tag Team Champions the Authors of Pain. The former Tag Team Champions were done but the question was what came next.

As it turned out, not too much as Ciampa had a torn ACL and is going to be out for a very long time. However, Gargano is coming back from the shelf and will be returning to “NXT” next week, according to both last night’s episode and Gargano’s Twitter. There is no word on what Gargano will be doing or who he’ll be feuding with upon his return.

Opinion: Sweet. Gargano vs. Ciampa has potential to be an awesome feud but unfortunately we’re looking at several months before Ciampa is back in the ring. It’s a good thing to have Gargano around while Ciampa is injured though as it’s going to make the feud that much better when he gets back.
