For the first time in forever. There are certain teams and combinations in wrestling that re together for such a long time that it is hard to imagine them ever being apart. It makes for such a weird moment when you do see them doing things on their own and those moments can be few and far between. We saw one of them this week on Monday Night Raw for the first time in ten years.

This week’s Monday Night Raw featured the Final Testament defeating Xavier Woods/Otis/Akira Tozawa in a six man tag. According to the WWE Stats Twitter account, this was the first time in over ten years that Woods competed in a tag match that did not involve another member of the New Day (either Big E or Kofi Kingston). Woods’ most recent tag match away from his team came on the July 1, 2014 edition of Main Event when he and R-Truth were defeated by the Wyatt Family.

He’s quite good. Check out Woods over the years:
Opinion: This is one of those things that you do not see happen very often and it is rather impressive that New Day has been so close for so long. It is by far and away the best thing that every happened to any of their careers and the fact that the streak had lasted so long is all the more hard to believe. I could go for seeing New Day again, but at least Woods is doing something in the team’s absence.
