Up and down. Injuries are one of the worst things that can happen to any wrestler as you never know when someone is going to go on the injured list. That is something that can take away all kinds of momentum as plans have to be changed on the fly. At the same time, there is something special about seeing an injured wrestler return. This week saw one of each take place.
IN CASE YOU MISSED IT: Seth Rollins Reportedly Injured During Monday Night Raw Main Event
This week’s Monday Night Raw saw both an announcement of an injury to a wrestler as well as an injured wrestler returning to the ring. Last week on Monday Night Raw, Ludwig Kaiser attacked Kofi Kingston, leading to an announcement that Kingston will be out of action for a few weeks. This led to Xavier Woods, Kingston’s partner, returning from injury to face Kaiser. Woods had been out of action since December due to a variety of injuries. There is no word on when Kingston will return to the ring.
Those are some talented people. Check out Kingston and Woods together and on their own:
Opinion: That is never good to hear, though hopefully Kingston is able to get back in the ring sooner than later. He is one of the most talented stars around WWE today and it would be a shame for him to miss more time from the ring. At the end of the day, there is no way of knowing how long someone is going to be hurt and missing, but it would be great to have Kingston back quickly.
What do you think of the two? What is next for them when Kingston returns? Let us know in the comments below.
