He could be. We are less than a month away from WWE Bad Blood and in this case, a lot of the card is already set. There are already three matches officially announced, but there are other spots that need to be filled. Last week on SmackDown, a WWE Title match was announced for this week’s show, with Cody Rhodes defending against Solo Sikoa inside a steel cagee. According to Wrestling Observer Radio, Sikoa is not expected to challenge Rhodes for the title at Bad Blood, but Jacob Fatu might get the shot instead. Rhodes originally challenged Fatu for the title, but Sikoa would not allow it to happen. Bad Blood is set to take place on October 5.
It’s a busy story. Check out how we got this far:
Opinion: This could make for an interesting match, as Fatu is not like any other challenger that has come after Rhodes’ title yet. Fatu is an absolute animal who could give the champion a lot of trouble, which is why the match should make sense. For now though, we could be in for a heck of a showdown and that should make for a rather effective SmackDown main event at the show.
