On the market. It can be a big deal when a wrestler leaves WWE as it opens up a variety of options. You can see someone go elsewhere and see what they can do in another promotion. That can often be quite the success as the wrestler had more than enough talent but wasn’t working out in WWE for one reason or another. That might be the case again as a former WWE star is now a free agent.

Bobby Steveson, formerly known as Damon Kemp during his time in NXT, has confirmed that his WWE contract has officially expired, making him a free agent who can sign anywhere he chooses. Steveson has sent out a tweet announcing that he is available for bookings and appearances. It was reported that Kemp’s time in WWE was coming to an end earlier this year when WWE chose not to renew his contract.
As of today I am no longer contracted with WWE. I want to wrestle anywhere and everywhere. For bookings/appearances contact [email protected]

Steveson is talented. Check out what he did during his time in NXT:
Opinion: This was one of the weirder moves in WWE this year as Kemp was certainly starting to figure it out in NXT. He was doing well in the ring and seemed to have found his spot. I’d be curious to know if this was something about his brother Gable Steveson leaving the company earlier this year, as outside of that or some other unknown issue, his departure does not make a ton of sense.
