He’s back. There are all kinds of reasons that can leave a wrestler out of the ring and unfortunately many of them are health related. You never know when you are going to see someone be put on the shelf for a very long time time and it leaves fans wondering when they are going to see them again. That was the case again with a missing AEW star but now he is back in a special moment.
IN CASE YOU MISSED IT: Back Again: Missing AEW Star Announces Impending Return After Months Long Absence
This weekend at AEW Revolution, Roderick Strong defeated Orange Cassidy to win the International Title. Following the win, the Undisputed Kingdom celebrated with Cassidy when Kyle O’Reilly came in to celebrate as well. This was O’Reilly’s first appearance since August 2022. He has not wrestled since June 8, 2022 due to neck surgery and it is not clear when he will be returning to the ring.
O’Reilly is rather good. Check out what he can do when he is around:
Opinion: It’s great to see O’Reilly back and it will be even better to see him getting back in the ring. O’Reilly has had quite a few health issues over the years and it would be a shame to have him on the sidelines for so long. He certainly has history with Strong and it would not shock me to see him as the newest member of the Undisputed Kingdom. At least he is off to a nice start and we could be in for something special with him.
What did you think of the return? How should O’Reilly be used in AEW? Let us know in the comments below.
