He’s doing well. There are a wide variety of people who come together to make a wrestling show work, with a lot of them having nothing to do with the actual wrestling. Some of the most well known people involved in making this work are the broadcasters, who serve as the fans’ guide throughout the show. It can be a tricky situation when one of them changes and now we are seeing how that is going.

IN CASE YOU MISSED IT: Sticking Around: Former World Champion Signs New Deal With WWE, To Be Around In His Early 50s

Earlier this month, Joe Tessitore took over as the play by play announcer on Monday Night Raw. According to both PWInsider.com and Fightful Select, Tessitore has been receiving backstage praise for his work on the show. This was especially true of his work on this week’s show, his third broadcast. Tessitore is expected to move to SmackDown in January when Michael Cole will return to the role for the show’s move to Netflix.

He’s doing well. Check out Tessitore’s time in WWE:

Opinion: Tessitore brings a certain gravitas to the role and it is quite impressive to see him do so well in such a short amount of time. You can tell that he has put in the effort to get this far and he can improve as he keeps going. He has the experience in similar sports which can clearly show during his time in the WWE booth. I could go for having him around for a long time and he is certainly off to a good start.

What do you think of Tessitore’s time so far? Who is your favorite wrestling broadcaster? Let us know in the comments below.
