He may be around. There are a lot of talented stars on the AEW roster and some of them have been around since the beginning. As good as the original crop of wrestlers were, there is also the need to bring in fresh stars. AEW has done that multiple times over the years, and now they are doing it again with a star that you might have seen wrestling in another prominent place.

Earlier this month, Trent Seven made his AEW debut as a surprise challenger for Orange Cassidy’s All-Atlantic Title. Seven has gone on to make additional appearances, including this week on Rampage. According to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Seven is appearing on a per appearance deal rather than on a full time contract. There is no word on how many dates he is set for in the future.

Opinion: Seven is the kind of star who can make a nice addition to the AEW roster as he is an experienced veteran that the fans are going to recognize. He doesn’t need to be the next big thing or some kind of major deal, but he’s a nice hand to have around. AEW has a lot of talent already and adding more can help, which is where someone like Seven can be a nice bonus.
