Here Comes The Money? Shane McMahon Reportedly Attempted WWE Return

They’ll pass. WWE has undergone quite a few changes over the course of the last few months, including near the top of the company. This includes the McMahon Family no longer being in power, leaving its members mostly gone from WWE. While Vince McMahon is not likely to return no matter what, another member is not only interested in a return but has tried to make one.

According to Wrestling Observer Radio, Shane McMahon has made attempts to return to WWE but the people in power have no interest in him. There is no word on how Shane would be back in WWE, but there is nothing to suggest he would be in any position of authority. This comes as Shane was photographed in a meeting with AEW President Tony Khan, which has led to speculation of him possibly appearing for the promotion, though nothing has been confirmed.

Opinion: I’m not at all surprised that Shane wants back in WWE but I’m also not surprised that the new higher ups are not interested. While there are no allegations against Shane, he represents the previous generation and ownership of the company, which is not something that the company wants to focus on. Maybe it happens one day, but I can understand that it isn’t going to take place so soon into the new ownership.
