He Just Made The List: Drew McIntyre Reveals Non-WWE Opponents He Would Like To Face

That’s a good list. While there are all kinds of talented wrestlers on the WWE roster, there are several others who wrestle outside of the promotion. It can make for some interesting moments when a WWE Superstar clashes with someone from outside of the company, and now one of the biggest names in WWE today is talking about the outsiders he would want to face.

Former WWE Champion Drew McIntyre took part in a Reddit AMA to promote his new film The Killer’s Game. One fan asked McIntyre who he would like to face from outside WWE. McIntyre gave five names, seemingly in no particular order:

• Will Ospreay
• Kazuchika Okada
• Joe Hendry
• Tetsuya Naito
• Tomohiro Ishii

Of the five, only Hendry has not wrestled at least on occasion for AEW, though Hendry has wrestled for WWE as part of the TNA/NXT crossover which is currently ongoing.

Opinion: There is something almost fascinating about seeing a WWE Superstar talk about wrestlers from other promotions. It is almost like we are hearing something from behind the curtain, even though these WWE wrestlers are likely going to be seeing things from other countries and promotions on a regular basis. McIntyre’s list is interesting and there is always the chance that one of these matches could happen someday.
