Over there. WWE presents a variety of shows every year, some of which have been around for a very long time. These shows often take place at the same time every year but one of the questions becomes where they are going to take place. That can make for an interesting announcement if the location is out of the ordinary, which is what we are going to see again.

According to PWInsider.com, the 2026 Royal Rumble is set to take place in Saudi Arabia, with an official announcement possibly coming as soon as next week on the Monday Night Raw premiere on Netflix. WWE has worked with the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia since 2018 as part of a ten year agreement, which has seen multiple events take place in the country. This would be the first non-North American based Royal Rumble in history.

The show is big. Check out what has happened at Royal Rumbles past:

Opinion: This is hardly the biggest surprise as WWE has been working with Saudi Arabia for a long time now. Saudi Arabia is giving the company all kinds of money and they are going to want something back on their investment at some point. That is going to include having some of the biggest shows of the year taking place in Saudi Arabia, which is what we are going to be seeing with one of the biggest shows of the year.
