It’s what they want. WWE is in the middle of quite a few changes at the moment, with a lot of them being involved with the way the company presents its major weekly shows. Monday Night Raw, SmackDown and NXT are in the process of moving to new platforms, with NXT moving to network television for the first time. That is a huge change, and WWE knows what it wants.

IN CASE YOU MISSED IT: WRESTLING RUMORS: WWE May Be Planning Major Change To Theme Music

On October 1, NXT will make its debut on the CW, marking the first time that the show has aired on network television. According to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, WWE is hoping to draw one million viewers for the show, which has been drawing in the 600,000s on the USA Network. This is why WWE has loaded the show up with big names, including CM Punk, Jade Cargill, Bianca Belair and the Miz.

Those are some big shoes to fill. Check out what has been happening on NXT:

Opinion: This is certainly not out of the question for WWE and that makes for a more interesting show. The show is going to need to get off on the right foot on the CW and drawing this many people would be a good way to start things up. WWE is already stacking the show in a big way and in theory that should draw a large number of fans, which should certainly make the CW happy.

What do you think of the goal? Who should WWE add to the show? Let us know in the comments below.
