There’s more to it than that. This week’s Monday Night Raw focused on getting things ready for Money In The Bank. The show is still about a month away but now we have the Universal Title match set as Seth Rollins will defend against AJ Styles. That means the champ needs to get ready for the title match, which is exactly what he did after the show was over.
According to Wrestlinginc.com, this week’s Monday Night Raw dark match saw Rollins team with Braun Strowman to defeat Bobby Lashley and Drew McIntyre. While Rollins and McIntyre both appeared on the show, with McIntyre competing to earn the title shot, neither Strowman nor Lashley were seen or mentioned during the broadcast. At the moment, neither of them seem to have a story for the pay per view.
McIntyre was awesome when he was in the ring. Check out his triple threat match from earlier in the night:
Opinion: I could have gone for Strowman or Lashley in the competition over Baron Corbin but that’s a rant for a different time. The stories are starting to get built up on Monday Night Raw and there’s a good chance that we’re going to be seeing some of these matches taking place on television in the near future. Things aren’t great, but they’re starting to come together and that’s a good sign.
Which of these four have the brightest future? Who will take the title from Rollins? Let us know in the comments below.
