It’s a problem. There are all kinds of wrestlers on the WWE roster but there are only so many places for them to work. At some point some of them are going to be left off the shows and have to fight another day. In some cases though, those days do not come very often and now WWE is noticing that a certain group of wrestlers are not getting in the ring on the bigger shows whatsoever.

During a Fightful Select podcast, Sean Ross Sapp mentioned that WWE has been made aware that Black male wrestlers rarely wrestling singles matches on Premium Live Events. While Sapp’s contacts have made it clear that this was not intentional, it is something that is taking place and something that will be addressed. There are currently no Black men booked in a singles match at Bad Blood on October 5.

Opinion: I can absolutely believe that this isn’t something that was intentionally done but it is something WWE might want to fix. At the end of the day, there is no reason for this to happen as it certainly isn’t due to a lack of talent available. Hopefully we see something done a bit better in the near future, as it is leaving quite a bit of interesting possibilities off the table.
