Former WWE Superstar Makes Surprise Return At NXT Live Event After Three Year Hiatus

Welcome back! There have been all kinds of wrestlers throughout WWE’s history but it takes a special one of them to really make an impact. Those are wrestlers who might come back for one reason or another after their in-ring runs with the company come to an end. That is what we are seeing again as a former WWE Superstar is back, but this one might take you by surprise.

Former WWE Superstar Lince Dorado made a surprise return to the company this weekend, wrestling at an NXT live event in Citrus Springs, Florida. Dorado has been away from the company since being released in 2021 and has since wrestled on the independent circuit. It is not clear if Dorado has signed a contract with the company or if this is just a one off appearance. There is no word on when Dorado could return to WWE television, or what he might be doing if and when he does.

Opinion: This is something of a surprise as Dorado wasn’t likely on too many people’s radar. He’s a talented wrestler, but bringing him back out of nowhere is more than a bit surprising. It does make me wonder if this is somehow tied into the recent announcement of a TNA/NXT relationship, as Dorado could be on his way to TNA as an “official” NXT star in the near future. Or it’s just a big coincidence.
