Former WWE Superstar Arrested For Suspicion Of Murdering His Wife

The Portland (Oregon) Police Bureau has arrested former WWE Superstar Billy Jack Haynes on suspicion of murdering his wife, Janette Baycroft, 85 years old. Haynes, 70, is currently under arrest in a hospital due to an unspecified and unrelated medical condition. He is expected to be send to jail when he is discharged.

According to KOIN (Portland), a shooting was reported on Thursday morning just before 10am local time. Police arrived at the home and attempted to arrest Haynes, who did not immediately come out of the house. After about two hours, Haynes came out and was arrested, allowing police to find Baycroft’s body. According to KPTV (Portland), a neighbor said that they helped take care of Haynes and Baycroft, the latter of whom was suffering from dementia. Haynes wrestled for a variety of promotions throughout his career, mainly in Portland Wrestling. His most famous match is likely against Hercules at WrestleMania 3.

Opinion: What is there to say about this? You don’t get much more serious than someone allegedly killing another person and it being their seemingly ill wife makes it all the harder. This is beyond a wrestling situation and I have no idea how why any of it happened. I’m not sure what kind of a good thing can come out of it but hopefully things are not quite as awful as they seem.
