The female Elias. Earlier this week on “Monday Night Raw”, Stephanie McMahon announced the first ever women’s Royal Rumble. This is quite the game changer and a major moment in women’s wrestling history. While the number of entrants has yet to be announced, we now know one of the names.
This week on “Smackdown Live”, Naomi officially announced her entrance into the match, making her the first person to be confirmed for the match. There is still no word on how many people will join her, but there will be stars from both brands. As confirmed on the show, the winner will receive a shot at the Women’s Title (likely of their same brand) at “Wrestlemania XXXIV”.
Here’s the announcement.

Opinion: At this rate, it’s likely that almost everyone on the main roster (save for the champions) will be in the match and there’s nothing wrong with that. Naomi is a good choice for the first announcement as she’s popular and has the great entrance, which could make for an awesome entry in the match.
