It got serious. Wrestlers talking to each other, often in heated tones, is one of the most important parts of wrestling. An exchange of promos can ignite or extend a feud while often being some of the most engaging parts of a wrestling show. At the same time, things can often get personal, to the point where things are a little more serious. That appears to have been the case again in a recent exchange.

Last weekend, Ricky Starks and Adam Copeland exchanged insults with each other during the opening segment of Collision. According to Wrestling Observer Radio, the two of them went off script and both of them got mad at the other. There is no word on if anything else happened between the two after the segment was over.

Opinion: This is something that is going to happen from time to time and thankfully it does not seem like it wound up causing any trouble. Starks and Copeland’s statements were a bit intense and it is not shocking that they wound up making everything work. AEW has had more than enough issues with wrestlers having problems so hopefully it doesn’t happen again.
What did you think of the exchange? What is next for both of them in AEW? Let us know in the comments below.
