Farewell: WWE Hall Of Famer Departs Company

And she’s done. There have been all kinds of wrestlers throughout WWE’s history and some of them have gone on to have remarkable careers. Those are the wrestlers who can continue with the company after their in-ring careers are over, often in unofficial Legends roles. That was the case with a certain Hall Of Famer, but it seems her time with the company has come to an end.

According to PWInsider.com, Beth Phoenix has left the company as her deal has expired, making her a free agent. Phoenix has not wrestled for WWE since Elimination Chamber 2023 and she has not made regular appearances. There is nothing to suggest that there is anything negative between the two sides and she may return one day. Phoenix is married to AEW star Adam Copeland.

Opinion: Phoenix is one of those legends who had something of an under the radar career. She was one of the better power wrestlers in the history of the women’s division and she started getting even better when her career was coming to an end. You do not get to see that very often and I could go for seeing her show up again down the line. For now, it wouldn’t stun me to see her show up in AEW, which could certainly be interesting.
