It didn’t go well. There are several reasons why someone might leave a wrestling promotion and many of them are not the most positive. You will occasionally see someone have a disagreement with the promotion, which is what is happening again with a pair of brothers who at one point worked for AEW. Now things are not going so well and we know a bit more about what happened.

IN CASE YOU MISSED IT: Keep Waiting: Update On NXT Europe (Remember That?)

Earlier this year, Penta El Zero Miedo left AEW when his contract expired while his brother Rey Fenix hoped to leave, only to have his contract extended. According to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, the two felt they had “stagnated” in AEW and heard that WWE was interested in signing them. While AEW President Tony Khan offered them more money, it was not enough to get them to stay.

The two are rather good. Check them out in AEW, both together and on their own:

Opinion: This is something that makes sense and it isn’t that much of a surprise. The team has not been used very much lately in AEW and if the company is not going to feature either of them, what is the point in staying? At some point they are going to have to get into the ring and that is what needs to happen, which just might not be happening in AEW the next time we see it.

What do you think of the team? Are they better on their own or together? Let us know in the comments below.
