On loan? There are so many wrestlers on the WWE roster that the company has been able to split its wrestlers into three different groups. This includes the two main roster shows as well as NXT, which may be considered developmental but still airs on national television. It can be a nice moment when a main roster wrestler comes to NXT and that is the case again, with a potential title match looming.

Earlier this week, Monday Night Raw Superstar Xia Li came to NXT and confronted NXT Women’s Champion Lyra Valkyria. According to Wrestlingnews.co, Li worked a pair of NXT live events over the weekend, losing to Valkyria on Friday and teaming with Kiana James to defeat Karmen Petrovic and Valkyria on Saturday. There is no word on how long Li will be appearing in NXT.

Opinion: This is something WWE has been doing more and more as of late and it seems to be a good idea. At the end of the day, Li is still a WWE wrestler no matter which roster she is on so let her head to NXT and get some more ring time. This free passage from one show to another has made for some nice moments and Li very well could be the next one to make it work.
