The fans can get behind a wrestler if things start out on the right foot, with a hot entrance being quite the game changer. This is true in WWE with a variety of wrestlers and now the company is interested in trying to recreate something they saw recently.

According to Fightful Select, WWE is hoping to do more with Jey Uso’s entrance after they saw the fans’ reaction to it at both Backlash and a post SmackDown dark match. This includes seeing fans using their cell phone lights during the entrance, which WWE will push by dimming the lights for Uso’s entrance. Uso is scheduled to face Ilja Dragunov this week on Monday Night Raw in a King Of The Ring quarterfinals match.

Opinion: This would feel like the definition of “well, why not?” The fans are into the Uso entrance so why not see what they can get out of it? If WWE can turn it into a fun atmosphere and get some hype out of the whole thing, there is no reason for them not to. If nothing else, it might make Uso feel like an even bigger star, which appears to be a goal at the moment.
